Altar Ministry Team lead the reception of new converts and pray with believers responding to an invitation from the preacher. Each must be able to briefly communicate Destiny’s teachings on salvation, water baptism, the Holy Spirit, healing and deliverance. Additionally this ministry team assists in baptism ceremonies.
Church Beautification is the home improvement ministry for the house of God. This ministry team is responsible for the upkeep and improvement of church facilities and grounds.
Destiny Resource Center & Bookstore is an extension of our church’s ministry to your family with tools for deliverance, development and direction. Utilizing the resources made available through this store will cause the power of God to be manifested in your destiny.
Destiny Ministerial Development Institute (DMDI) is a training and mentorship forum for those seeking to develop their spiritual gifts, preaching/teaching style and evangelistic skills. Graduates of this training meet monthly and perform various ministry assignments.
Greeters are the ministry responsible for welcoming congregants and building rapport between attendees and the ministry.
Hospitality coordinate refreshments, meals and decorations to demonstrate excellence in hospitality and guest service.
Media Ministry is our audio, video, and television production department. This ministry also coordinates the use of media in worship and the fulfillment of media product orders.
Nurses Guild serves the pastors and special ministry guests to ensure their comfort and wellbeing. This ministry also manages assessment of attendees that exhibit physical distress.
Destiny Ambassadors is a public relations and event promotions ministry responsible for the promotion of all other church activities, special ministry events and activities. Additionally this ministry manages the church’s positive interaction and rapport with the community.
Sanctuary Guard manages the security of every service. The members of this ministry work together to ensure a safe environment to meet and worship. This ministry also serves as a liaison between the ministry and law enforcement.
Spanish Translation are tools of our church to facilitate the diversity of our membership.
Traffic Management Ministry assists the congregation entering and exiting the church parking lot. This ministry is often the first opportunity to make a ministry impact.
Transportation Ministry provides transportation to church services, special events and activities with church vehicles or by coordinating car pools.
Faith In Motion is our dance ministry that presents their orchestrated talent on fourth Sunday's and during special events.
Ushers serve to direct service attendees to appropriate seating, restrooms, and other facilities. Ushers are also the follow-up to greeters ensuring a pleasant and reverent worship environment.
Requirements for Leadership Ministries:
- Must be a tithing, baptized, spirit filled believer with signs (evidence of speaking in tongues or demonstrated fruit of the spirit).
- Commit to a lifestyle that is consistent with Christian principles, the Pastor’s vision and the rules and requirements of the respective ministries.
- Have the temperament, talent, capacity and time necessary to perform the duties required of the respective ministry.
- Consistently attend (at least) one weekly service. Persons unable to attend at least one weekly service due to work schedule should notify the respective ministry head.
- Faithfully attend ministry meetings.
- Manage time and talent as necessary to maintain a fruitful relationship with God.
- Reapply to actively participate after unexcused leave or absence. Application may also include attend any or all classes required of new members.
